By the 4th of July.

I drove by some amazing corn fields last week...it made me want to stop the car...and run with wreckless abandon through all the corn.

You know, there are several sayings about corn in the south:

• The corn is head-high by the 4th of July
• The corn is high as an elephant's eye by the 4th of July
