Words can be a wonderful gift!
The Bible has much to say about words - especially in the book of Proverbs.
The title of this blog hails from Prov 25:11.
Proverbs 18 has plenty to say about words.
Prov. 18:21 - The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Another good saying a friend of mine uses often (she's an attorney):
"Keep your words soft and sweet in case you have to eat them."
Take a moment today to self-reflect and check the pulse on your words. Are you proud of them? Are they full of life? Are they full of self? (hint: check the "I's" and "my's in your speech...)
I thought it best to do a quick blog-self-check. What's spoken/written about most often here in this blog? That's what the graphic above indicates. You, too, can scan your blog at http://www.wordle.net/. Very interesting stuff!
Most interesting to me is that "ants" trumped "friends" and "Christ" ...but apparently is of equal importance with "lunch" and "church."
I'm starving.
It's time for lunch.
