For those of you who have not yet heard, we discovered a small, firm lump on the cheek bone of our older son Andrew, who is four years old, several weeks ago. Following a few doctor visits over the last couple of weeks, an MRI on Thursday, and a biopsy yesterday, our doctor suspects that the lump is some sort of malignant tumor. Thanks to all of you who have sent encouraging e-mails and voicemails this week. More importantly, thank you for your prayers on our behalf. We need them now more than ever. We trust that God, our Heavenly Father, is not surprised by this ordeal and that He is in complete control.
